Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Sales and Product Development Manager to lead strategic sales activities for the development of vacuum furnace systems in various sectors.

This position will be responsible for developing new sales opportunities with key customer accounts, managing sales budgets and forecasts, and ensuring positive profitability. The successful candidate will also be required to travel throughout Mexico, present product offerings, and collect feedback from customers and engineers.

The role involves developing programs and strategies to measure and meet customer expectations, attending trade shows and technical conferences, and presenting company technology to the Mexican market.

In addition, the Senior Sales and Product Development Manager will be responsible for executing a Strategic Development Program with our client, which aims to extend our product line offering into the Mexican market. This may involve assisting in the establishment of a local contract service operations center, setting up a local supply chain, or full manufacturing capability.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of materials technology and contract services, as well as basic knowledge of CRM sales tools and familiarity with Miller Heiman Sales methodology.

A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in project or product management, manufacturing, or sales and marketing is required. A BS in Mechanical Engineering or Material Sciences is essential, with an MBA or PhD being highly desirable.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
