Salt Security is the pioneering API Security vendor that established the market in 2018. Since then, we have experienced rapid growth with numerous customers, threats stopped, and revenue. We recognized early on that API security would be a key battleground in the future as APIs became the foundation of application innovation driving business success today. Across various industries such as banks, retail, transportation, IoT, autonomous vehicles, and smart cities, every modern app relies on APIs. Attackers target APIs to access valuable data and services, making them the predicted number one application threat vector. Without secure APIs, businesses cannot innovate rapidly.

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Partner Development Manager (PDM) to drive growth and success through our strategic partner ecosystem in the US East Region. The ideal candidate will be a connector with experience in pipeline build and business development, and act as a confidante to Sales. Key Responsibilities include:

  • Partner Strategy & Development: Identify, recruit, and onboard new partners while strengthening relationships with existing partners to drive mutual business growth.
  • Business Growth & Sales Enablement: Collaborate with partners to develop go-to-market strategies, joint business plans, and revenue-generating opportunities. Monitor and evaluate partner performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure seamless partner integration and success.

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 5+ years of experience in partner development, business development, or channel sales.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships that drive revenue growth.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in security technology, SaaS, or cloud-based solutions is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, Crossbeam a plus).
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
