About the Role
The Emerging Territory Sales Executive is responsible for planning and conducting sales activities to achieve assigned quota for products and services within a defined emerging territory. This role involves developing new business opportunities by generating leads and expanding existing accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with assigned dealers to follow up on sales leads within the territory
- Develop long-term customer relationships and achieve customer satisfaction goals
- Ensure resellers receive and understand product and marketing information, and are trained in all areas of vertical products, services, and strategy
- Take ownership of direct sales to non-assigned (orphan) accounts within the territory
- Recommend Autodesk product and service solutions designed to help customers achieve their objectives
- Provide accurate price quotations based on approved pricing guidelines
- Collect and disseminate competitive information to resellers
- Work with Application Engineers to provide technical product information and/or demos
- Develop and maintain sales forecasts
- Support resellers in developing sales and marketing plans related to the vertical product line
- Set up beta programs and provide feedback to the product/services division
- Implement new product launches with resellers within the assigned territory
- Serve as a liaison between the dealer and Autodesk to facilitate effective two-way communication
- Hold periodic regional sales meetings to bring all resellers together
- Build relationships with resellers in the channel to ensure a common vision and strategy
