About the Role

The Emerging Territory Sales Executive is responsible for planning and conducting sales activities to achieve assigned quota for products and services within a defined emerging territory. This role involves developing new business opportunities by generating leads and expanding existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with assigned dealers to follow up on sales leads within the territory
  • Develop long-term customer relationships and achieve customer satisfaction goals
  • Ensure resellers receive and understand product and marketing information, and are trained in all areas of vertical products, services, and strategy
  • Take ownership of direct sales to non-assigned (orphan) accounts within the territory
  • Recommend Autodesk product and service solutions designed to help customers achieve their objectives
  • Provide accurate price quotations based on approved pricing guidelines
  • Collect and disseminate competitive information to resellers
  • Work with Application Engineers to provide technical product information and/or demos
  • Develop and maintain sales forecasts
  • Support resellers in developing sales and marketing plans related to the vertical product line
  • Set up beta programs and provide feedback to the product/services division
  • Implement new product launches with resellers within the assigned territory
  • Serve as a liaison between the dealer and Autodesk to facilitate effective two-way communication
  • Hold periodic regional sales meetings to bring all resellers together
  • Build relationships with resellers in the channel to ensure a common vision and strategy
