Job Description

As a Sales Operations Specialist at Assurant, Inc., you will be responsible for collaborating with our buyers and internal partners to onboard new buyers, manage post-sales processes, and enhance the overall buyer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Process Management: Manage the Keeper process, complete orders, work with internal and external partners to facilitate processes, calculate forecasts, and collaborate with Ops and clients to prepare SKUs for fulfillment.
  2. Sales Order Processing: Process sales orders, internal orders, and other transactions in Oracle.
  3. Post-Sale Support: Provide support for post-sale processes, including device unlock requests, shipping, and account management activities.
  4. New Buyer Onboarding: Integrate new buyers into sales and support processes.
  5. Customer-Driven Inventory Requests: Work with internal partners to manage customer-driven inventory requests.
  6. Process Improvement: Take ownership of process improvement, working with internal teams to drive simplification and quality.
  7. Special Projects: Support client supplemental sales platform programs and other special projects as needed.
  8. System Investigation: Investigate and troubleshoot system issues and buyer questions related to sales orders.
  9. RMA Request Approval: Review and provide approvals for RMA Requests, collaborating with the Quality Team to improve output.
  10. Buyer Communication: Assist internal departments with buyer communication (Shipping, Finance, GDO, and Compliance) as needed.

Requirements:

  • Strong MS Office skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel.
  • Effective oral and written communication abilities.
  • Strong planning, organization, and time-management skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Resilience with the ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Willingness to work extended hours, including nights and weekends when required.
  • Experience in a sales support or customer service role.
