BA Global Talent is looking for a qualified professional to join a dynamic team as a Technical Sales Engineer with a strong background in sales and marketing to lead the establishment of a new branch office in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with plans to expand across Latin America. The company specializes in advanced transforming products and Load Tap Changers (LTCs), providing innovative power solutions to various industries. The ideal candidate will spearhead the growth strategy in key markets, including Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela, and Ecuador.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the establishment of a new subsidiary office in Buenos Aires, ensuring smooth operational setup and alignment with company goals.
2. Oversee the administrative, legal, and logistical processes involved in setting up the branch.

Sales and Business Development:

1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the power and energy sectors in Latin American markets.
2. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners in target countries, including Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, and others.
3. Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy for the region.
4. Conduct market analysis to understand regional needs, industry competition, and regulatory environments.

Technical Solutions and Product Support:

1. Provide expert technical advice and support to customers regarding the product range, including Load Tap Changers (LTCs) and advanced transformers.
2. Tailor product solutions to meet specific customer needs and regional market demands.
3. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure technical accuracy and excellence in product delivery and after-sales support.

Market Expansion:

1. Drive regional growth by establishing new sales channels, distribution networks, and strategic partnerships across Latin America.
2. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote products and services in the power sector.

Marketing and Brand Awareness:

1. Develop localized marketing strategies to raise brand awareness and drive sales across multiple countries.
2. Work with global marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging while adapting materials for regional markets.
3. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations for clients, showcasing technical features and value propositions.

Qualifications:

1. Extensive experience with substation apparatus, protection, and control, preferably within an Electric Utility, Service Provider, or Manufacturer environment.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field.
3. +5 years of experience in the field.
4. Strong knowledge of transformer monitoring systems and condition-based assessment instruments.
5. Fluent in English and Spanish.

Nice to have:

1. Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
2. Marketing experience.
3. Experience working with countries in Latin America (Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, etc.).

Location: Buenos Aires - It will start as a remote role until the office has been set up.

Schedule: Full-Time
