Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned HR Strategic Partner to enhance our operations. This position plays a crucial role in managing the comprehensive spectrum of human resources and recruitment for our operations across the LATAM region, with a focus on Mexico, Colombia, and Argentina. The HR Strategic Partner will collaborate closely with departmental leaders to cultivate a positive workplace culture, ensure compliance with legal standards, and attract, nurture, and retain exceptional talent.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete recruitment process, including job advertisements, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending job offers.
- Facilitate effective onboarding processes for all new employees in accordance with established protocols.
- Ensure thorough probation assessments and reviews, providing guidance to managers on performance-related matters.
- Manage offboarding and termination processes; work with legal advisors as necessary to resolve any employment-related legal issues.
- Regularly process payroll data, ensure the renewal of essential HR contracts, and maintain organized HR documentation.
- Maintain compliance procedures for employees, collaborating with external advisors as needed.
- Assist with immigration and work permit processes in each location, in partnership with external legal experts.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to project leaders for organizational changes, both during and outside of annual review cycles.
- Establish and manage the HRM system for the project, ensuring data consistency, operational continuity, and transparency for employees.
- Supervise employee relations, offering support and advice to managers and staff on HR matters to promote ongoing business development and employee satisfaction.
- Address employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary matters with fairness and consistency.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources and Recruitment, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
- Proficient in handling sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion.
- In-depth knowledge of labor regulations and HR best practices, including regional nuances.
- A systematic approach to managing HR business strategies and a strong analytical mindset.
- Detail-oriented and resourceful with a proactive attitude.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated experience with HRM systems such as PeopleForce, Workday, ADP, BambooHR, or similar platforms, including managing employee data, payroll, benefits, and performance management.
- Fluent in English (Upper-Intermediate or higher) and Spanish (Fluent or native).
