Customer Service Specialist with Excellent Communication Skills

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at USALCO. In this role, you will provide top-notch customer service to external customers across the United States, ensuring a positive and consistent experience with every interaction.
Key Responsibilities- Process orders efficiently, meeting customer requirements, and collaborate with plants and logistics for timely order fulfillment.
- Handle extensive external and internal customer contact through order handling, problem-solving, and general inquiries.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the order-to-cash cycle and revenue recognition requirements.
- Cultivate strong customer relationships by responding promptly to questions and concerns with speed, accuracy, and consistency.
- Function effectively in a team environment, providing backup and assistance when needed.
- Strong ability to understand customer needs and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Effective two-way communication with internal and external customers.
- Proactive handling of customer orders and problem-solving.
- Tolerance for ambiguity and understanding of business success drivers.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently in a team environment.
- Developed business acumen.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

- Able to multitask with minimal supervision.
This is a hybrid position, requiring 3 days in-office and 2 remote days per week. You may be required to work across different US time zones. We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years' prior experience within a chemical manufacturing environment, intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, and ERP experience such as Ross or SAP. Preferred qualifications include continuous improvement activities like LEAN, 5S, Six Sigma, and certifications.
