Guests can book handpicked homes with a range of hotel-like amenities, including in-person check-in and check-out, fresh linens and toiletries, and on-demand concierge services.
IMPORTANT: This is a full-time remote role but you will need to be based in BA as some office time will be required.
As the
Finance Specialist
, you'll be responsible for supporting the Finance team by managing daily reports, processing confirmed reservations in the accounting system, and handling invoicing and billing activities. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and close collaboration with internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review daily financial reports.
- Upload and record newly confirmed reservations into the accounting system.
- Process reservation modifications and cancellations, ensuring accuracy in financial records.
- Prepare and issue invoices to clients in a timely and accurate manner.
- Create and manage bills for payments to suppliers and other partners.
- Support month-end and period closing activities when required.
- Communicate with internal teams to clarify discrepancies related to reservations, invoices, or payments.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation.
- Provide support with additional finance-related tasks as needed by the Finance team.
You:
- Speak excellent English, both written and spoken
- Are highly organized and detail-oriented
- Have a desire to learn about the vacation rental industry
- Are comfortable working with numbers and spreadsheets
- Are proactive and able to follow up on open items without reminders
- Can communicate clearly and professionally with both internal teams and external vendors
- Are tech-savvy and comfortable learning new software tools (experience with accounting platforms is a plus)
- Work well independently and manage your time effectively
- Are a team player who is open to feedback and willing to grow in the role
Work Expectations & Travel Requirements:
While the position is primarily remote, some in-person and on-call responsibilities are required:
- On-call availability one week, 1–2 times per year
