We're looking for an
Accounting Specialist
to join our team, working directly with one of our external clients.

Main responsibilities

  • Carry out full forensic accounting on its external client billings accounts and P+L to ensure that all billings and expenditures are correctly categorized in line with standard and legal accounting practices.
  • Reassignment of any miskeyed or miscoded items both in accounts payable and receivable
  • Arrange billing for any under / misbilled / unbilled client expenditures or budgetary items
  • Ensure all items are keyed and assigned correctly at review end.
  • Intercompany and Payroll reconciliations.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations and preparation of month end folder reporting.
  • Accruals and prepayment reviews.
  • Revenue reconciliations.
  • Assist preparation and delivery of state / federal of TAX reporting.
  • Support with preparing monthly / annual / quarterly reports and other documents required by the management team.

  • SAGE knowledge is a plus

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • +3 years of experience in an Accounting position working for a US company.
  • Thorough understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, and reporting requirements.
  • Experienced in implementing solutions to streamline and automate processes
