About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and bilingual Accounting Analyst to join our global accounting team. This role is perfect for a top accounting firm or start-up veteran (3-6 years of experience) looking to escape the high-stress, high-turnover environment and transition into a stable, international role with clear work-life boundaries and career growth.

You will be instrumental in managing the core financial operations for a diverse portfolio of US-based clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance with US standards (GAAP), and seamless integration with our digital-first workflow.

Fluency in both English and Spanish is a strict requirement for this position.


Key Responsibilities (High-Value Workstreams)

  • Accounting Operations Management: Take full ownership of General Ledger (GL) maintenance, monthly closing processes, and account reconciliations for multiple clients, focusing on accounting standards and efficiency.
  • Accounts Payable (AP) Leadership: Manage end-to-end AP workflows, including vendor onboarding, invoice processing, and payment runs using modern systems (e.g., Ramp).
  • Proactive Communication & Reporting: Serve as the primary financial contact for client queries, proactively communicating status updates, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining transparent, detailed financial records and reporting packages.
  • System & Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and control.

Mandatory Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)

  • Experience: 3 to 6 years of progressive experience in Accounting, Audit, or Tax, preferably gained within either a Big Four/large international public accounting firm or start-up company.
  • Language: Professional working fluency in English (verbal and written) is required for daily collaboration with US-based teams.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proven, hands-on experience with core systems (QuickBooks Online,, Netsuite, Gusto) and cloud-based AP/Expense management tools (e.g., , Ramp, etc.).
  • Financial Standards: Solid understanding of international (IFRS) and/or US GAAP accounting principles and best-practice accounting processes.

Compensation & Stability Package

Annual Gross Salary: $20,000 – $25,000 USD Equivalent

Employment: Full-Time
