The IT department is seeking new candidates to its dynamic team. The department provides support worldwide to the Organizations all along the value chain from exploration thru site development to production.

What role you will play in our team

• IT Professionals responsible for understanding the business processes and IT tools that is needed to provide effective IT support for Upstream Revenue Accounting, which covers the Upstream Production Revenue Accounting process, including valuing produced volumes, recording appropriate accounting entries (i.e. sales, purchases, expenses, payables, inter-company, etc.), paying and reporting to Royalty owners, Government Royalty agencies, and Government Tax agencies among other parties.
• Our office is located in Puerto Madero, Buenos Aires and you will interact with engineers and users from all around the world.

What you will do

• Develop comprehensive business process knowledge and understanding of the related IT solutions including capabilities, processes, data and priorities, as well as contribute to growing the relevant business knowledge within teams.
• Independently support business users on low/medium/high complexity requests through problem solving, consultation, system enhancements, process standardization & improvements, and new development.
• Develop and maintain low/medium/high complexity application configuration changes to meet business requirements ensuring stable cross-functional integration
• Develop and maintain working relationships with business users in the related business functions.
• Collaborate with other IT colleagues and service providers to maintain system integrity and integration.

About You

• Bachelor Degree in System Engineering or similar.
• Advanced English skills, verbal and written communication.
• We are seeking candidates with varied levels of experience in SAP modules, specifically for Revenue Accounting.

Preferred Qualifications/ Experience

• Understanding of various SAP Financial modules, PRA module knowledge is a must have.
• Knowledge on FI – Procurement – TAX modules is a plus
• Experience in SAP S4 HANA or R3/ECC 6.0
• Basic knowledge of ABAP and debugging.
