Job Description: Finance Analyst

Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina

Key Responsibilities

1.Financial Reporting & Accounting:

  • Take full ownership of the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing process ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage all accounting operations, including AR, AP and fixed assets.
  • Lead the customer reconciliation process, resolving discrepancies promptly and maintaining accurate accounts receivable records.

2.Tax Strategy, Compliance & Commercial Support:

  • Maintain expert, up-to-date knowledge of the Argentine tax system and monitor for legislative changes.
  • Actively participate in customer pricing negotiations, providing critical financial analysis and modeling to assess the tax and profitability impact of different commercial terms.
  • Oversee and review tax compliance, coordinating with local external advisors as needed.

3.Internal Controls & Process Optimization:

  • Design, implement, and continuously optimize internal control policies and procedures.
  • Manage and improve the employee expense reimbursement process, including policy development, communication, and compliance monitoring.
  • Identify and lead initiatives to improve financial operational efficiency and reduce risk across the region.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in accounting/finance, with at least 1-3 years in a role with managerial or regional oversight.
  • Full professional proficiency in English and Spanish (written and verbal) is essential.
