Learn to be a trusted advisor to customers

As a Strategic Account Executive you will be responsible of the strategic objective of increasing revenue generation by selling into the whitespace within your assigned territory through Carrier prospects and existing accounts to enable them to become more successful, profitable, and secure online.

As a Strategic Account Executive, you will be responsible for:

Developing a strategic sales plan, account plans to maximize the territory opportunities through existing customer revenue growth.Acting as the primary, trusted point of contact to key customer stakeholders, building relationship and customer successPartnering with sales engineers, internal support resources and channel partners to ensure consultative engagement with prospectsUtilizing marketing resources to create/manage a high volume sales pipelineCommunicating effectively with all levels of prospective buyers and internally at Akamai

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

Have 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or its equivalentDemonstrate relevant experience or related familiarity with the role.Have relevant sales experience working with Carriers, increasing new and existing business.Have experience selling security, software and/or cloud computing solutionsHave a proven track record in over-achieving quarterly and annual quota and successfully executing complex sales cyclesDemonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills and an ability to build trusting relationships with customersHave an excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English
