Position Summary

The Business Development Coordinator provides junior-level support to the Business Development team at Rainforest Connection (RFCx). This role is responsible for assisting with prospect research, proposal preparation, coordination of partner communications, and general administrative support for business development initiatives. The position requires strong organizational skills, proficiency with AI and productivity tools, and excellent English communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research to identify potential donors, clients, and partners
  • Maintain and update project trackers, partner databases, and CRM records
  • Assist with preparation of partnership proposals, reports, and presentation materials
  • Support scheduling, coordination, and follow-up for meetings with external stakeholders
  • Draft professional correspondence, meeting notes, and summaries in English
  • Utilize AI tools to support research, writing, and reporting tasks
  • Manage workflows and timelines using project management tools
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support smooth execution of deliverables

Required Qualifications

  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills (C1 Level or above)
  • Proficiency in AI productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Notion AI, or equivalent)
  • Experience using project management platforms (eg: Clickup)
  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive)
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Airtable)
  • Previous experience in nonprofit, conservation, or technology-related roles
  • Background in research, sales support, or grant writing
