The Account Director (AD) will support the Global Lead on a prestigious technology client.
He/She plays an active role in running the team operations, and supports the team in the execution of world-class marketing communications.
As the regional Client's central point-of-contact, the AD holds overall responsibility for the relationship while ensuring Hogarth teams are engaged and motivated to perform.
The role is very operational and will also require someone who has demonstrable experience working under pressure.
Possessing strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail are critical factors for success in the role.
Key ResponsibilitiesClient managementPossesses a strong understanding of and consistently delivers against all contractual obligations, commercial arrangements, KPIs and SLAs with the ClientOperational planning and reviewsLead by example, embracing the Hogarth values through interactions with the immediate team, broader teams and managementProvides a link into Global activity, representing the region and ensuring alignmentConflict resolutionResource ManagementWorks with senior management to ensure teams are engaged and motivated to performAssists in recruiting and staffingPlans and coordinates training/on-boarding for incoming and existing teamsConducts and manages performance appraisalWork with the leadership team to instill the Hogarth values and build the Hogarth cultureAssists with one-on-one management / mentoringOngoing engagement with key bench staffPoint of escalation for Hogarth internal teamsSupports the Global Lead with Finance Management and business growthSupports regional affiliate agreementsQuarterly budget planning, re-forecast, reconciliation and analysisMonitors budget utilisation across teams and flag issues internallyMonitors financial health to ensure the account's sustainabilityManages resourcing across teams by monitoring utilisation and productivityEnsures full compliance with all financial procedures and policiesManages and maintains a continual focus on cost and revenueMeets/exceeds KPI targetsRequirementsMinimum 6-8 years of client services experience with a solid account management backgroundExperience in budgeting and forecastingFocus on continuous improvements, delivering excellent quality and high levels of customer serviceAgency experience managing international clients in multiple markets with multiple stakeholdersExperience of running an account team including resource planningExperience in the language industry desiredPrior people management experienceNegotiation skillsProblem solverGood networking skillsHigh level of organisation and attention to detailSelf-starter and self-motivatedStrong English speaking and writing skills are essentialKnowledge of another language is a plus but not mandatoryDiversity & Inclusion Hogarth is an equal-opportunity employer.
