About the Role

In this position, you will assist the Store Manager in the day-to-day running of the store. Taking ownership of various duties while ensuring the store's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met. Furthermore, in the Manager's absence, you will serve as the first point of contact, motivating the workforce to drive sales and provide exceptional customer service while exceeding targets and maintaining business standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide considerate and responsible service to customers throughout their visit.
  • Address inquiries and complaints, resolving issues promptly in a professional manner.
  • Ensure team members' personal appearance and dress code align with company guidelines.
  • Familiarise yourself with the Customer Service measuring programme, including Customer Satisfaction Surveys.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets whenever possible.
  • Understand and interpret relevant Oracle reports.
  • Leverage in-store devices to drive team member engagement at every opportunity.
  • Confidently use the store's dashboard to analyse Footfall, ATV, and Conversion metrics.
  • Craft visually appealing displays to attract and engage customers, encouraging purchases.
  • Implement the weekly brief effectively within the store.
  • Verify merchandise is correctly priced, price amendments are actioned, and all Point of Sale (POS) materials are accurately displayed.
  • Maintain stock on display in clean and presentable condition at all times.
  • Develop internal staff and promote progression within the group.
  • Monitor the Training and Development website and track staff progression via e-assessments.
  • Assist with store recruitment, new starter inductions, and staff training.
  • Prioritise management development using the Trainee Management Academy.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Retail Management.
  • Excellent Time Management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
