About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Business Development Manager to join our team at SAP. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for driving business growth and revenue expansion through the sale of our complex business software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, sell, and close new business opportunities with existing and net new customers.
  • Develop and execute account plans to ensure revenue target delivery and sustainable growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Utilize industry knowledge and market trends to identify new business opportunities and develop strategic sales plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of SAP's complex business software solutions and their applications in various industries.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activity to ensure SAP remains competitive in the market.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in sales of complex business software or IT solutions.
  • Proven track record in business application software sales, with a focus on enterprise software solutions.
  • Experience in lead role of a team selling environment, with a strong ability to mentor and develop sales teams.
  • Exceptional contractual and negotiation skills, with the ability to close complex sales deals.
  • Business-level English: Fluent.
