What you’ll be doing:PGI’s corporate pillar is dedicated to delivering top-tier solutions and services that delivers business resilience for our clients. Due to this we are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to spearhead our corporate market efforts. This is a key role that will shape and drive our sales strategy, expand our market presence, build key client relationships and contribute to our overall mission:
- Develop and execute a robust business development strategy tailored to the corporate market.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and projects within the corporate sector.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting trust relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and industry influencers.
- Lead the sales process from prospecting through to closing, ensuring that sales targets and objectives are consistently met or exceeded.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing and subject matter experts on product development, and account delivery teams to ensure alignment and drive business success.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to inform business strategies and decisions.
- Easily liaise with clients at varying levels to establish their problems and challenges, reassuring and guiding them as they embark on the client journey.
- Identify routes to success, working with technical experts, solutions architects, and project teams to maximize PGI’s offer and value to the client.
- Minimum of 5 years of business development experience within the corporate market, ideally with expertise in providing information security or payments compliance services.
- Proven success in building and growing sales in the corporate sector, with a strong network of contacts.
- Deep understanding of corporate sales processes, market trends, and key players.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
- Firm believer in providing clients with an exceptional experience, signposting client pain points and business needs with the right blend of expertise and skillset.
- Ability to negotiate multi-year contracts to solidify and close annual accrued revenue opportunities.
- Knowledge of how to sell PGI’s value, establish approaches at networking events, persist when accounts’ teams change, and get PGI’s clients recommending PGI to theirs.
- Enabling clients to trust in PGI’s expertise, in the service being delivered and that their important business need is our priority, that PGI has their back.
- Ability to navigate how PGI can support a client and reduce the pain points they have by exposing PGI’s blend of expertise and service line offering to identify multiple types of revenue opportunities.
