About the Role

As a Business Development Manager at EdgeUno Inc., you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and bringing new business to our company, especially focusing on connectivity solutions, IP transit, content delivery networks, and cloud services. Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients in the telecom industry. You will leverage your knowledge of the sales process and your extensive network to generate new business opportunities. The role requires a hunter mentality, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop Strategic Partnerships: Develop positive relationships with Internet Service Providers, telecom companies, content owners, and distributors, IT companies, data center operators, data transport providers, and data security specialists.
  2. Customer Engagement: Act as the point of contact and handle customers' individual needs, ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services.
  3. New Business Development: Generate new business opportunities by leveraging existing customer networks and actively seeking out and engaging with potential clients.
  4. Conflict Resolution: Resolve conflicts and provide timely solutions to customers, working closely with internal teams.
  5. Sales Growth: Increase sales through effective funnel development, pipeline management, and successful deal closures.
  6. Target Setting: Set and track sales account targets that align with company objectives.
  7. Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Requirements
  1. Proven Sales Experience: Proven experience as an Account Manager or Sales Account Executive, with a successful track record in achieving sales targets.
  2. Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the sales process in the telecom industry is highly preferred.
  3. Customer Focus: Ability to deliver an excellent customer experience by demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  4. CRM Proficiency: Proficiency in CRM software to manage customer relationships, track sales activities, and generate reports.
  5. Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills with the ability to articulate the value proposition of our products and services.
  6. Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting quickly to changing circumstances.
  7. Problem-Solving: Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a resourceful and creative approach.
  8. Self-Motivation: Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a proactive and driven work style.
  9. Team Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, fostering a spirit of teamwork.
  10. Travel Requirements: Flexibility to travel as required for client meetings, industry events, and business engagements.
