Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and strategic professional to assume the position of Market Access Director. As a key member of our startup team, you will work with the entire payor ecosystem in the South Cone (Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay), enabling interactions with internal and external stakeholders based on individual contacts, educational events, and access projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a cross-functional work to define market access strategy for a portfolio of products; in the public, private, and social security institutions, and clearly communicate and ensure alignment with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure Market Access excellence by obtaining the optimal pricing and launch timing in collaboration with the relevant departments in the company.
- Explore and identify key stakeholders in-market and establish relationships with key influencers and decision makers to develop and implement innovative market access approaches for new products brought to market by Medison Pharma.
- Have a deep understanding of the South Cone countries' political environment and healthcare structure and an expertise especially in the area of market access and deliver a government policy in the different therapeutic areas where Medison Pharma is active.
- Oversee and drive cooperation between local teams, vendors, and respective functions in Partners' teams to execute against all above objectives.
- Lead the process of preparing local (national) pricing & reimbursement files and ensure a smooth transition from named-patient sales (RAEM) to post MA commercialization.
- Plan and support the execution of listing negotiations through cross-departmental collaboration, applying integrated account models.
- Develop tailored tactics and tools that support building government relations, both on national and local levels, for the Public, Private, and Social Security institutions.
- Support the development of go-to-market models and integrate information on product value to support strategies for optimizing revenues, reimbursement, and formulary positioning in respective countries.
- Explore, identify, and foster trust-based working relationships with key national, regional, and local stakeholders to facilitate bringing new products consistently and efficiently to market.
- Work cross-functionally with global and local medical and commercial functions and local Country teams within the Cluster.
- Initiate and drive disease awareness projects, advocacy activities with KOLs, patient organizations, and health authorities; ensure cross-functional cooperation.
