Job Overview

We seek an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team, focusing on the effective management of HR and recruitment processes for our LATAM operations, primarily in Mexico, Colombia, and Argentina. This role involves collaborating closely with department heads to foster a positive work environment, ensure legal compliance, and attract, develop, and retain top talent.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and job offers.
  • Conduct effective onboarding of all new hires according to established processes.
  • Ensure meaningful probation assessment and review processes and provide support to people managers on performance issues.
  • Handle offboarding and termination procedures; cooperate with legal advisors as needed to address and resolve any employment-related legal issues.
  • Process payroll data regularly, ensure timely prolongation of necessary HR contracts, and maintain accurate HR documentation.
  • Maintain legalization procedures for employees both internally and with external advisors' assistance.
  • Support immigration/work permit processes in each location, working in conjunction with external legal advisors.
  • Make fact-based recommendations to the project head and stream leaders for changes, both during and outside of annual review processes.
  • Set up and manage the HRM system of the project, ensuring consistency of data, continuous functionality, and process transparency for employees.
  • Oversee employee relations, providing support and guidance to managers and employees on HR matters to ensure business development and high employee satisfaction.
  • Address employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary issues fairly and consistently.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources and Recruitment, preferably with 2 years in a managerial role.
  • The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices, as well as regional specifics.
  • A consistent approach in managing HR business direction and system-thinking.
  • A strong detail-oriented and resourceful mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication skills, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience with HRM systems such as PeopleForce, Workday, ADP, BambooHR, or similar platforms, including managing employee data, payroll processing, benefits administration, and performance management within these systems.
  • English: Upper-Intermediate and higher.
  • Spanish: Fluent or native.
