The team you will be a part of
LAT RBC Optics Commercial Tendering team is selecting a new member.
The team works with Optics (DWDM) technology preparing proposals and offers for Latin American customers.
The position mixes technical knowledge with commercial and pricing skills.
Team collaboration and knowledge sharing are essential and pursued values looking for professionalism and team and personal growth.
What you will learn and contribute to
As part of the team, you will:
- Prepare the Commercial Offer, including services estimation, based on customer requirements and the solution defined by the pre-sales team.
- Define pricing and commercial strategy with Sales and pre-sales teams.
- Support commercial negotiations throughout the sales cycle.
- Optimize deal profitability in scope and cost structure.
- Manage pricing and commercial escalations.
- RFP/RFQ/RFI point-to-point answer.
- Offer management (offer cycle).
- Support the approbation process in CRM / WtD.
- Support gate reviews during offer development to identify and mitigate critical path issues related to pricing, costs, and T&Cs
- Win/Loss analysis, identify pricing, cost and T&Cs issues and lead improvements.
- Stress and communicate the ‘skinny scope’ bid response mentality (minimum response to meet base RFP requirements, additional items highlighted as options). Challenge pricing assumptions and pricing benchmarks of involved PUs to identify areas for cost reduction and subsequent price reduction.
- Ensure that pricing and terms and conditions assumptions are well documented in customer pricing proposals to preserve Nokia revenue and up-scope potential on deviations.
Your skills and experience
You have:
- Degree/College diploma, Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Business or Marketing or equivalent work experience.
- At least 3 years experience and demonstrable expertise with DWDM NI Optics product portfolio, such as 1830 PSS / 1830 PSI / 1830 ONE / WaveLite / WaveSuite and Care services.
- Oral and written proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Business case creation and pricing and margin experience.
- Understanding of Nokia Sales Processes, Methodologies and Tools.
- Business acumen with an ability to identify and assess commercial/technical issues and drive to a successful resolution.
- Skilled communicator who can constructively advise decision-makers in a global work environment.
