The Business Engagement Manager acts as a vital liaison between the technical team and business stakeholders, including SFP, Commercial, and Supply Chain. This role is crucial for understanding business challenges, translating them into actionable requirements, and facilitating the end-to-end solution development process. The role ensures effective communication, alignment, and successful execution of projects within the D&A domain, focusing on bridging business needs with technical solutions.

This role is pivotal in ensuring that business needs are effectively communicated and translated into technical solutions. The Business Engagement Manager plays a key role in aligning business objectives with technical capabilities, ensuring that projects are executed successfully and deliver tangible business value.

Key Responsibilities:
Business Challenge Translation:

- Establish a strong bridge between business units and the D&A Service Line.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to comprehend their challenges, pain points, and strategic objectives.
- Translate business requirements into clear and concise technical specifications for the solution development team.
- Hand over business challenges to the solution development team, ensuring alignment with customer needs.

Customization and Deployment:

- Work closely with the development team to customize solutions based on specific business requirements.
- Ensure that technical solutions align with business objectives.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including data scientists, data architects, and BI developers.
- Ensure seamless deployment of solutions within agreed timelines.

Quality Control and Maintenance:

- Oversee quality control processes to ensure that solutions meet business expectations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to address any issues or enhancements post-deployment.
- Regularly assess solution performance and recommend improvements.

Business Understanding:

- Develop a deep understanding of the business domain, including industry-specific challenges and opportunities.
- Translate complex business concepts into actionable insights for the development team.

Program Management:

- Manage program aspects, including budget, timeline, resources, scope, and change requests.
- Oversee project progression, risks, and status reporting.
- Collaborate with sales teams to address customer needs effectively.

Business Cases and High-Level Plans:

- Collaborate with executive sponsors to develop business cases.
- Define critical success factors and key performance indicators.
- Maintain high-level implementation plans aligned with growth strategies.

We’re looking for someone with:

- Robust commercial background, with experience in understanding and addressing business challenges. Ideally has experience in global projects such a as: system implementation (10+y)
- Ability to translate complex business concepts into actionable insights.
- Strategic approach and thinking out of box
- Deep understanding of the business domain, including industry-specific challenges, opportunities and priorities
- Passion for digital innovation and the ability to adapt to evolving technologies.
- Results-Driven. Able to thrive in a dynamic environment and embraces change.
- Strong Communication Skills: Able to effectively bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Market and GBS organization: A deep understanding of the market and Global Business Services (GBS) is essential to effectively bridge the gap between business and technical teams.
