**What role you will play in our team**:
Marine Support Analyst is a member of the Freight Operations team. This team works together with the Freight trading and Commodity traders to plan, schedule and execute bulk movements of hydrocarbons (including crude oil, gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, chemicals and refined products and feedstocks) to/from facilities in the Americas and Arabian Gulf to customers around the world. The Freight Operations team creates value by ensuring reliable supply at the lowest cost through decision making and optimizations.

**What you will do**:

- Develop deep understanding of the business and operational aspects of crude trading;
- Develop deep understanding of the business and operational aspects of the Freight Operations Team;
- Leverage general Freight Operations knowledge, as well as understanding of monthly transactions to effectively represent the business
- Monitor plan updates/requests and perform GOM data entry and data updates for Marine Coordinator in a timely and accurate manner
- Develop tools and work process improvements with the objective of increasing efficiency around work activities, automating activities where appropriate
- Lead work efforts around: Month End Close and resolution of third party statement issues identified by PMI and/or Freight Operations
- Interfaces with PMI, Trading, Supply Coordination, Trade Support Analysts, third parties, and measurement specialists to address accounting questions
- Collaborate with Freight Operations team members to improve efficiency of tools used in scheduling

**About you**:

- Experience in any of the following is required:

- Plan, schedule or coordinate goods or product movements via pipeline, vessel, rail or truck
- Work in petroleum refining, pipeline or chemicals operations
- Volumetric accounting experience
- Marine Knowledge of vessel operations
- Be available and willing to work outside normal working hours as needed. Solid proficiency in use of MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience in SAP, Analysis for Office, and Tableau is a plus. Experience in Python, UiPath, Excel Macros, API/script or other coding experience
- Post-Secondary education (Bachelor’s degree) with preference for Information Technology, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or related discipline
- Fluency in English both written and oral
