The Account Director (AD) will support the Global Lead on a prestigious technology client. He/She plays an active role in running the team operations, and supports the team in the execution of world-class marketing communications. As the regional Client's central point-of-contact, the AD holds overall responsibility for the relationship while ensuring Hogarth teams are engaged and motivated to perform. The role is very operational and will also require someone who has demonstrable experience working under pressure. Possessing strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail are critical factors for success in the role.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Client management
  2. Possesses a strong understanding of and consistently delivers against all contractual obligations, commercial arrangements, KPIs and SLAs with the Client
  3. Operational planning and reviews
  4. Lead by example, embracing the Hogarth values through interactions with the immediate team, broader teams and management
  5. Provides a link into Global activity, representing the region and ensuring alignment
  6. Conflict resolution
  7. Resource Management
  8. Works with senior management to ensure teams are engaged and motivated to perform
  9. Assists in recruiting and staffing
  10. Plans and coordinates training/on-boarding for incoming and existing teams
  11. Conducts and manages performance appraisal
  12. Work with the leadership team to instill the Hogarth values and build the Hogarth culture
  13. Assists with one-on-one management / mentoring
  14. Ongoing engagement with key bench staff
  15. Point of escalation for Hogarth internal teams
  16. Supports the Global Lead with Finance Management and business growth
  17. Supports regional affiliate agreements
  18. Quarterly budget planning, re-forecast, reconciliation and analysis
  19. Monitors budget utilisation across teams and flag issues internally
  20. Monitors financial health to ensure the account's sustainability
  21. Manages resourcing across teams by monitoring utilisation and productivity
  22. Ensures full compliance with all financial procedures and policies
  23. Manages and maintains a continual focus on cost and revenue
  24. Meets/exceeds KPI targets
Requirements
  1. Minimum 6-8 years of client services experience with a solid account management background
  2. Experience in budgeting and forecasting
  3. Focus on continuous improvements, delivering excellent quality and high levels of customer service
  4. Agency experience managing international clients in multiple markets with multiple stakeholders
  5. Experience of running an account team including resource planning
  6. Experience in the language industry desired
  7. Prior people management experience
  8. Negotiation skills
  9. Problem solver
  10. Good networking skills
  11. High level of organisation and attention to detail
  12. Self-starter and self-motivated
  13. Strong English speaking and writing skills are essential
  14. Knowledge of another language is a plus but not mandatory
