This position reports to

Local Business Area Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sale of Motion products and services within the Oil and Gas segment, in line with the industry segment strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities within the assigned segment.

This role is contributing to the Motion business line in Neuquén, Argentina.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Selling Motion products (motors and drives) and services to customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets for the assigned segments.

• Drive business growth through proactive opportunity detection, influential client engagement, and consistent client visits

• Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand their needs, promoting their understanding of Motion's complete product and services offering, and aligning with them to provide a solution.

• Performing regular status reviews and proposing recovery plans, in case of any potential order shortfalls.

• Creating added value for the customer and ABB and ensuring the successful outcome of transactions, contracts, and proposals, by using effective sales techniques.

Qualifications for the role
  • You have 5 years of experience working in commercial functions with Motors and Drives
  • Possess an enhanced knowledge of the Oil and gas market
  • Degree in Electric, electronic, industrial engineering or a related field
  • You are at ease communicating in English fluently
  • You are passionate about goal-oriented work
  • You have availability to travel
