Responsibilities Manage and coordinate all accounting activities for Latin America, including revenue accounting, revenue recognition, financial analysis, and standard accounting functions. Review journal entries and financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with auditors to support audit processes and ensure timely completion of audits. Foster strong relationships and collaboration with other departments within the region to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency. Gain a deep understanding of the business and its accounting processes specific to Latin America to effectively handle assigned projects and provide strategic insights. Lead continual process improvement initiatives to optimize financial processes and enhance operational efficiency. Effectively manage resources, including personnel and budget allocations, to ensure efficient execution of accounting activities. Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and standards, particularly those relevant to Latin America, and implement necessary adjustments to ensure compliance. Qualifications 5-10 years of accounting experience Knowledge and understanding of GAAP accounting principles Experience with financial systems (SAP preferred) Outstanding analytical and research skills with strong attention to detail Strong interpersonal, management, and leadership skills Ability to multi‑task and work well independently and with others Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to work effectively with associates working remotely Knowledge of SOX principles and experience working in a public company environment preferred Excellent management experience coaching and mentoring staff Ability to handle multiple requests by prioritizing and organizing work among the team and/or setting and agreeing to appropriate deadlines. Excellent time management.
