Accounting Manager page is loaded## Accounting Managerlocations: Buenos Aires (Butty)time type: Full timeposted on: Posted Yesterdayjob requisition id: R- **Job Purpose**The Accounting Manager performs accounting duties to provide accurate and timely financial statements to enable senior and product line management to make appropriate business decisions and achieve departmental goals.**Primary Job Responsibilities*** Responsible for accuracy of the Connected Living business unit financial statements, ensuring reliable and timely reporting by performing client level analysis and internal reporting, embedding pricing sheets in the analytics process to assess actual performance to identify trends and opportunities. Proactively identifying and resolving potential issues with the results. (25%)* Line of business P&L and balance sheet analytics that are required for quarterly reporting (GAAP and STAT) (20%)* Ensure compliance with applicable accounting policies, standards, and internal controls. (20%)* Engage directly with business leaders to align accounting processes and estimates with strategic goals. (15%)* Accounting review and input into new/amended contracts and other business activity, including significant accounting judgements to ensure compliance with accounting principles. (10%)* Deployment of processes and controls as new clients are onboarded for Home Warranty, including leading UAT coordination for changes, ensuring end-to-end control coverage and alignment with long-term business goals. (10%)**Required Experience, Skills, and Knowledge*** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA equivalent or Master’s degree preferred.* Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.* Demonstrated strong analytical and research skills.* Proficiency in financial systems and tools (e.g., ERP platforms, Excel, reporting software).* Excellent project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.* Proven experience in financial analysis, internal controls, and system implementation.* Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles.* More than 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including controllership or financial analysis roles.*At Assurant, we celebrate the differences that make us who we are.
