Summary We are looking for an experienced AI Engineer with a strong foundation in backend development and hands-on expertise building production-grade AI systems to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate has deep experience with modern AI frameworks, LLMs, agentic architectures, and retrieval workflows, and understands how to translate these into robust, scalable, customer-facing solutions. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and AI research teams to design, implement, and iterate on AI-driven capabilities across our platform. This is a full-time consultancy. We offer the flexibility to work remotely. Key Responsibilities Work with engineers, designers, and AI specialists to ideate, design, and build AI-powered features for our multilingual content platform. Architect and implement LLM-powered services, including retrieval systems, content-generation pipelines, decision-making agents, and evaluation layers. Design and build agentic workflows, including multi-step reasoning, tool use, memory modules, and orchestration logic. Integrate with external AI and cloud platforms (OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain and Vector DBs). Develop backend services to power our AI features, ensuring reliability, safety, and performance. Manage features end-to-end, from ideation and experimentation to implementation, testing, and deployment. Build automated testing and evaluation frameworks for LLMs and AI features, including regression tests and prompt/agent evaluations. Collaborate on system design and infrastructure decisions, as well as pipelines for deploying and monitoring AI systems. Mentor less experienced teammates and help shape our AI engineering culture and best practices. Requirements 5+ years of experience building backend features, ideally in Python and/or Typescript. Strong experience with modern AI frameworks, such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, Haystack or other agentic architectures. Practical expertise with LLMs, embeddings, vector databases, prompt engineering, and retrieval-augmented generation. Experience designing and implementing AI agents and multi-step orchestrations. Solid understanding of databases and vector storage solutions. Comfortable with async programming and event-driven architectures. Ability to work independently and cross-functionally to deliver production-ready systems that meet the needs of our customers. Experience in system design and infrastructure. Preferred Experience with LLMOps, including experiment tracking, evaluation frameworks, and model monitoring. Exposure to fine-tuning, model distillation, or prompt optimization workflows. Experience with TDD, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps workflows. B.S. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or equivalent experience. Why Join Our Team Big brand bragging rights.
