We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to join our team in collaboration with an innovative American client. As a Senior AI Engineer, you’ll have the autonomy to shape the core technology powering next-generation news platforms, directly influencing how news is aggregated and understood at scale. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in Python back-end development Proven experience in web scraping and data extraction with tools such as BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, or similar Good knowledge of NLP techniques and deploying/using transformer-based on-prem models (e.g., Qwen, BERT) Strong understanding of REST APIs, asynchronous processing, and distributed systems Comfortable using PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, and Git Experience with dockerizing solutions and deploying to on-premises infrastructure (Kubernetes clusters) English: Upper-intermediate or higher Nice-to-have skills Experience working with multilingual datasets Responsibilities Design and develop scalable web scraping pipelines using BeautifulSoup, Requests, and/or Selenium Implement content extraction and noise reduction logic for both structured and unstructured web data Integrate AI components for: translation, content categorization, clustering of similar news items, summarization (with preference for Qwen 32B model) Build pipelines to de-duplicate and normalize multilingual news content Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to optimize model inference performance and ensure efficient data flow Design APIs and back-end infrastructure to deliver aggregated news content to end-users Monitor and maintain scrapers, adapting to site structure changes and ensuring data quality and integrity Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, actively contributing to a collaborative team environment Benefits Through our values — Better Minds, Bolder Ideas, and Bigger Hearts — we strive to provide you with the tools, autonomy, trust, and assistance you need to excel.
