General Manager – LAC (Argentina & Uruguay) Virtuoso is the world’s leading global travel agency network, specializing in luxury and experiential travel. As the Global Manager for the Latin America & Caribbean (LAC) region, you will oversee Virtuoso’s operations across Argentina, Uruguay, Puerto Rico, Central America, and the Dominican Republic, ensuring the regional business plan aligns with the global enterprise strategy. Responsibilities Identify market gaps and opportunities and develop strategies for revenue, brand equity, and margin optimisation. Collaborate with Virtuoso departments to create annual strategies that enhance the value proposition and maintain relevance and quality. Provide coverage for vacant roles within the regional matrix and ensure continuity of leadership. Communicate with executive teams, analyse competitive context, and act as the brand ambassador in the market. Deliver key performance metrics as outlined in the business plan, with a focus on finance management and team leadership. Maintain governance, operationalisation of the regional business plan, and ensure compliance with country, regional, and international regulations. Qualifications Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field. Proven track record as a senior general manager in a similar role in the LAC region. Strong leadership, communication, and project‑management skills. Expertise in negotiations, financial KPI management, and team performance. Analytical mindset with advanced problem‑solving abilities. Self‑starter who can work independently and inspire collaborative teamwork. Travel Requirements: Approximately 35%+ of the role will involve international travel to meet members, attend events, and conduct team meetings.
