Job Description AECOM is seeking an experienced PMO Project Management Manager for the Underground Metro Line in Bogotá, Colombia for employment in Bogota, Colombia. Responsibilities Reporting to the director of the PMO, responsible for all activities related to the management of the project (schedule management, programming and control, finance, cost management, expenditure management) and coordinating the rest of the management team. Coordinating with client and construction contractor in developing and maintaining the project controls management Plan. Leading and directing the PMO Project Controls team. Managing change control, cost control and budgeting. Managing information systems and processes. Creating and owning the standards and processes which facilitate timely and accurate schedule analysis and reporting. Developing scheduling review maturity by providing training and coaching. Develop and implement project management strategies aligned with the overall goals of an underground railway metro project. Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks. Implement risk management processes to minimize the impact of potential issues. Implement change control processes to manage scope changes effectively. Evaluate the impact of changes on the project timeline and budget. Facilitate lessons learned sessions at the conclusion of project phases. Implement improvements based on lessons learned to enhance future project management processes. Utilize project management tools and technology to enhance efficiency and collaboration. Stay abreast of industry best practices and incorporate relevant technological advancements. Integrate sustainable practices into project management processes where applicable. Consider environmental and social impacts in decision-making. Qualifications – Minimum Requirements BA/BS in civil engineering or economic and administrative sciences with specialization, master’s, or doctoral studies in Project Management + 10 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership. Current certification of PMP from PMI, or IPMA level C or B, or GAQM PPM or GAQM CPD or Prince2 Practitioner. Specific experience of at least ten (10) years in management, direction, boss, programmer, project leader roles either in Construction or maintenance of Metro-type mass transit rail systems, having intervened in such capacity in at least two (2) Metro-type underground railway works projects, that together add up to at least ten (10) km of tunnels and at least eight (8) underground stations for Metros. Preferred Qualifications Master’s, or doctoral studies in Project Management. 15+ years of experience.
