Role Overview We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Contract Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our client's growing team. This role plays a critical part in the customer acquisition engine by handling inbound homeowner inquiries, qualifying leads, and ensuring seamless communication. The ideal candidate will thrive in a structured environment, enjoy working with customers, and be passionate about supporting a mission‑driven team. Key Responsibilities Lead Response & Qualification Act as the first point of contact for inbound homeowner inquiries across multiple U.S. markets. Prioritize rapid response times during business hours to ensure quick lead follow‑ups. Use the “Simplify & Qualify” approach to guide homeowners through the process and gather essential information. Qualify leads based on property type, project type, timeline, and decision‑making structure. Schedule consultations directly on the Home Comfort Advisors’ (HCA) calendars for qualified homeowners. Follow‑Up on Aged Leads (3–30 Days) Manage outreach for aged leads who have shown interest but have not yet booked a consultation. Employ a multi‑touch cadence (calls, texts, emails) to re‑engage with leads. Maintain a warm, non‑pushing communication style while encouraging the next steps. Monitor and manage the shared email inbox to route service requests to the correct teams. Process leads from various referral sources (e.g., Mitsubishi, contractors, events) and input data into CRM. Ensure accurate lead capture and smooth handoffs to relevant market teams. Calendar & Scheduling Support Keep track of HCA availability across markets and schedule consultations. Reduce no‑shows by setting clear expectations and maintaining open communication. Assist with rescheduling consultations when necessary. CRM & Workflow Management Log all interactions in Salesforce, ensuring consistent, clean data and accurate notes. Provide valuable insights on lead quality, homeowner concerns, and operational blockers to improve processes. Participate in team meetings and coaching sessions. Provide input on messaging, homeowner sentiment, and common objections. Assist in pilot initiatives and cross‑sell campaigns, and stay aligned with market needs and nuances. Requirements Previous experience in a BDR, inside sales, or customer success role. Strong phone presence: warm, professional, and clear communication skills. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and workflows simultaneously. Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred). Ability to work 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Eastern Time consistently. Stable internet connection and professional remote setup. Experience supporting U.S.-based customers or sales teams. Familiarity with HVAC, home services, solar, or home electrification. Prior remote work experience with U.S. time zones. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Full‑time, contract role with a flexible remote work setup.
