About the role
A fast-growing natural dog chew brand is hiring an Organic Content Manager to own all non-paid growth channels—SEO, affiliate, AEO/answer-engine visibility—and omnichannel creator marketing across Google, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts. This is a fully remote role reporting directly to the CEO on a small, high-impact team where your work clearly moves the needle on traffic, revenue, and brand growth.
What you'll do
Strategy & leadership
· Develop and own an organic growth strategy across SEO, AEO, affiliate and UGC creators tied directly to revenue and brand goals.
· Build and manage a test-driven editorial and content calendar for blogs, PDPs, landing pages, UGC, and partner content.
· Define and report on KPIs (non-brand traffic, affiliate revenue, AEO visibility, creator performance) directly to the CEO.
SEO & AEO ownership
· Run deep keyword and intent research for Google and other search surfaces, especially long-tail, high-intent terms (e.g., "best natural dog chews for aggressive chewers").
· Own on-page SEO: titles, meta, H1–H3s, internal linking, alt text, URL structure, and content hierarchy.
· Partner with dev/ops (or no-code tools) to handle core technical SEO for Google, including crawlability, indexation, robots and sitemaps, Core Web Vitals, site speed, internal linking health, and resolving basic site issues surfaced in Google Search Console.
· Lead generative engine optimization (GEO), shaping content, structure, and data so the brand is accurately represented and frequently cited in AI and generative search experiences.
· Plan and ship high-value content (pillar pages, clusters, FAQs, comparison guides) that ranks and converts.
· Implement and maintain structured data (Product, FAQ, HowTo, Review, Organization) to win rich results and AI/answer overviews.
· Stay on top of the latest AEO developments and evolving AI search experiences, and translate them into content structures and experiments.
UGC, creators & ambassadors
· Own the omnichannel UGC/creator strategy across TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.
· Build and manage an ambassador program of creators and nano/micro influencers producing UGC for organic and paid use.
· Collaborate with marketing team in writing briefs, hooks, and frameworks so creators can reliably produce on-brand, high-performing content.
AI-powered creator & affiliate systems
· Use AI-driven outreach and automation systems to identify, contact, and onboard thousands of affiliates and creators (especially on TikTok).
· Manage funnels for applications, approvals, and sample requests at scale to get the right products to the right creators quickly.
· Track performance by creator, platform, and content type to continuously refine targeting, briefs, and incentives.
· Grow an affiliate ecosystem of publishers, creators, and communities that extends organic reach and authority.
· Provide partners with high-converting assets (copy, angles, links) and optimize placements for SEO and conversions.
Analytics & optimization
· Build simple, clear reporting connecting SEO, UGC, and affiliate activity to traffic, revenue, and profitability.
· Run ongoing tests (topics, formats, internal linking, FAQs, clusters, creator angles) and document learnings so growth compounds over time.
What you bring
· 3–5+ years owning organic performance (SEO/content) for a DTC or CPG brand, with clear traffic and revenue wins.
· Hands-on SEO skills (keyword research, on-page optimization, structured data, technical SEO for Google) and strong analytical skills.
· Proven experience managing UGC creators across TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube/Shorts.
· Track record building and managing ambassador or affiliate programs, ideally using AI-powered outreach/automation to scale to hundreds or thousands of partners and manage samples.
· Excellent writing and editing skills with a balance of brand storytelling and conversion-focused copy.
· Thrives in a small, fast-moving, fully remote team and enjoys working directly with a CEO; motivated by visible, measurable impact.
