Perform the duties following the guidelines of the Quality Management System.
- Behave according to the Company Ethical Charter.
- Review or update operational practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws.
- Controls departmental expenses to meet budget guidelines.
- Provide information and assistance on internal or external audits of the Company.
- Assess appropriate material handling equipment needs and staffing levels to load, unload, move, or store materials.
- Monitor forecasts and quotas to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities.
- Implement new or improved supply chain processes.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as production, engineering, and quality assurance, etc
- Design or implement plant warehousing strategies for finished products.
- Analyze inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, or optimize customer service.
- Design or implement supply chains that support business strategies adapted to changing market conditions, new business opportunities, or cost reduction strategies.
- Conduct or oversee the conduct of life cycle analyses to determine the environmental impacts of products, processes, or systems.
- Design, implement, or oversee product take back or reverse logistics programs to ensure products are recycled, reused, or responsibly disposed.
- Evaluate and select information or other technology solutions to improve tracking and reporting of products distribution, storage, or inventory.
- University Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or other related area or equivalent experience.
- +2 years of experience in logistics related positions.
- Knowledge of inventory management tools, including Warehouse management systems, ERP´s and others.
- Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals.
- English Required, Other languages is a plus (Portuguese, others).
- Computer literacy is required, spread sheets, word processor, other utilities, basic knowledge of commercial software package (i.e. Windows or similar) and basic computer configuration.
- Systems Evaluation - Identifying measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA, CE Mark standards.
- Proven leadership and ability to drive teams.
- Good communication skills both oral and written.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Active Learning: Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.
