LIABILITY CLAIMS HANDLER

We are looking for a lawyer with experience between 1 to 3 years in Law Firms and/or Insurance Companies. This position works with Claims handling of Civil Liability and Insurance Law recovery from out-of-court

throughout mediation and judicial stages, involving medium to large and complex

cases.

We’re looking for individuals with **excellent negotiation skills **to join our Recovery team.

**Responsibilities:
- Manage the portfolio according to legal proceedings with efficiency and proactiveness.
- Comply with objectives set for the team.
- Provide legal counsel, negotiate settlements and update clients on the status of their claims.
- Suggest actions and put them into practice in order to increase our penetration in

different markets and improve results.
- Work with surveyors and correspondents on effectively safeguarding client’s rights and protecting available jurisdictions.
- Support the Specialist and Country Manager in different matters related to the

operation.
- Participate in a diverse global recovery team, sharing knowledge and experiences.
- Understand and effectively communicate BARBUSS value proposition and culture.

**Requirements:
- Previous experience between 3 to 6 years in Law Firms and/or Insurance Companies.
- Law degree
- Enrolled in Bar Association (CABA)
- Previous experience in litigation is a must.
- Advanced level of English (oral and written).

This position requires people who are results-oriented, dynamic, proactive, with experience in collaborative organizational culture, and flexible to adapt to evolving scenarios.
