Join to apply for the Project Manager role at Hitachi Energy The Opportunity Project Manager is responsible for the whole lifecycle of the project and will be supported by the functional areas. The PM manages project initiation, planning, execution, progress monitoring (technical and financial), risk management, client communications, adherence to HE HSE guidelines, project close-out, and transmission of lessons learned from the project. How You\'ll Make An Impact Lead the project team, establish execution methods, define guidelines, assign activities, motivate and monitor internal and external resources to meet project scope, and provide performance feedback to all involved. Define project documentation with the planning and control area, including scope, milestones, schedules, and risk and opportunity management plans. Plan, monitor, and control project activities to optimize cash flow and resource use, and ensure continuity of project development. Ensure adherence to best execution practices and company policies, monitoring progress and resource use. Monitor and control project finances, including billing status, costs, expenses, cash flow, and contract-based conditions to maximize margins and liability management. Identify, qualify, quantify, and manage risks and opportunities; capture and share lessons learned throughout the project. Ensure formal project closure per contract, with client acceptance and contract completion. Review critical supplier progress and deliveries, verify impact on schedule, and apply supplier qualification processes. Understand contract terms, including consortium agreements where used, and assess changes for their impact on financial margin and risk. Ensure contract and claims management standards are followed, evaluating changes or claims per company policies and contracts. Coordinate with supply chain to secure services, materials, and equipment from qualified suppliers, supporting negotiations and changes as needed. Fulfill commitments to the customer and seek to improve satisfaction through regular interaction and updates. Act proactively to meet client expectations, ensuring deliverables, on-time payments, and long-term client satisfaction. Serve as the client contact and internal focal point for project issues, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and effective communication. Develop relationships across client organizations, including executive levels, to meet project objectives. Assess risk, mitigate where possible, and identify opportunities to optimize project outcomes. Contribute to the improvement of methodologies for scoping, planning, execution, and changes in projects. Your Background Engineering or Business Administration professional with at least 4 years of experience in similar roles.
