Profession (Job Category): Project/Program Management Job Schedule: Full time Remote: No Responsibilities Lead the team assigned to the project, establishing execution methods, defining guidelines, distributing activities, motivating, and monitoring resources to meet project scope requirements. Define, with the project planning and control area, all project documentation including scope, financial milestones, schedules, risk and opportunity management plans. Plan, monitor and control project activities, maximizing cash flow, considering critical stages and ensuring continuity of development. Ensure project follows best practices and company policies, monitoring progress and resource use. Monitor and control financial activities, verify billing status, costs, expenses and cash flow, using contractual bases to maximize cash flow, margins, liability limits. Identify, qualify, quantify and manage risk and ensure all opportunities are identified, capturing, analyzing and sharing lessons learned. Ensure project is formally closed as contractually agreed, securing acceptance, contract completion and client acknowledgment. Understand contract terms and consortia agreements, assessing contractual impacts of changes and increases in development, guarding against negative impact on margin, performance, risk factors. Apply contract and claims management systems, accepting or rejecting changes/claims per policy and agreements. Coordinate with supply chain to secure services, materials, equipment; support negotiations, complaints, claims, changes, obtaining favorable results. Proactively meet client expectations, develop project deliverables, ensure on-time payment and contribute to long-term client satisfaction. Act as key contact for client, focal point for internal referral; build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with internal and external parties. Develop contacts with different organizational levels in the client, including executive; tailor communication to meet objectives. Assess risks and changes in exposure, take action to avoid/mitigate; recognize opportunities and take advantage. Contribute to improvement of methodologies and techniques for scoping, planning, execution and changes in company projects. Background Electrical engineering or related education with 4 to 5 years of experience in projects of varying size, complexity and contracting forms. Microsoft Project (mandatory). Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) (mandatory). PMP® Certified Project Manager (desirable). Knowledge of customers and electricity market (Transmission/Distribution) (desirable).
