**Claims Analyst - Operations Department (OPS/Claims)**

This is a hybrid position with the flexibility to work virtually as well as from our one of our Buenos Aires office

**What the day will look like**
- End-to-end management of reinsurance claims.
- Receiving and logging claim notifications in internal systems.
- Coverage analysis based on contractual terms.
- Timely notification to reinsurers.
- Entering and updating data in systems for managing claims.
- Issuing instructions for allocations and payments to relevant departments.
- Supervising payments and recoveries from reinsurers.
- Maintaining strong relationships with insurers, reinsurers, and clients.
- Coordinating with internal departments such as Finance, Legal, and Commercial.

**Skills and experience that will lead to success**
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in similar roles within the insurance and/or reinsurance market, preferably in claims, operations, or customer service areas.
- Advanced-level students or near graduates in Law, Business Administration, Insurance, or related fields.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proactive mindset to identify process improvement opportunities.
- Customer-oriented with interpersonal skills to handle complex situations.
- Proficiency in digital tools (Excel, claims management systems, etc.).
- Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written).
- Previous experience in brokers, insurance companies, or reinsurers is a plus, as well as familiarity with operational and contractual processes.
