Support Engineer with Development Skills

**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**:

**ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide them with the best possible solutions
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to the development team
- Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in software development
- Configure continuous integration, static code analysis tools and build process for your software, as well as installing and deploying the same in end customers or in cloud based solutions, automating the process as much as possible
- Collaborate and support other team members in your area of expertise. Spread the knowledge

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Fluent oral and written English
- 5+ years of experience working with the Java stack, preferable with Springboot
- Well versed in Object-oriented programming
- Have familiarity working in Agile environments
- Previous experience with Maven, Sonarqube and continuous delivery tools, such as Jenkins or Bamboo
- Previous experience developing with Springboot
- Experience with REST Services
- Should have experience with microservices and Containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
- JavaScript and JavaScript-frameworks experience is a plus
- Experience using Spring Cloud is a plus
- Experience with Rust language is a plus plus
- Former experience with Avaya products and platforms is a plus

**ADDITIONAL INFORMATION**:

- Graduated in Software Engineering, computer Science or similar
- Industry certifications: Java Certified Programmer, Architect or similar; AWS, GCP or Azure certifications are very valuable

**Weekend Duty once every 15 days.**
