The Latin America region is a key market for BNP Paribas. While Brazil remains the largest economy in Latin America, other major countries in the region are significant contributors for the business and for long standing relations with clients.

**JOB PURPOSE**:

Application and user support

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Effectively escalate to development teams for level 3 support

Create and maintain documentation

Must be able to multitask and take ownership on multiple items until resolution

Facilitate proper communication to the business users and clients

Available on-call for after-hours support on a rotational basis

Inbox monitoring and batch operations

Answer internal client calls and requests

Participate in incident management follow ups and resolutions

Actively participate in regional forums (English), to defend changes, incidents, etc.

Will report hierarchically to the Argentine ITP Head, and functional to the Application Support Manager based in NAR.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field is a plus

Understanding of the trade/banking process is a plus.

Medium Linux scripting / development

Medium SQL/Oracle skills

Strong background using Microsoft products (Specifically Excel & Outlook)

FTP, SFTP, FTPS, WGET file transfer setup knowledge

Must be able to work as part of a team, use own initiative and be self-motivated

Use of industry standard tools (Service Now/ITSM, Jira).

Background in Autosys Job Scheduling

Experience in Release Management is a plus

Experience writing documentation

Strong communication skills

Ability to Understand, explain and support change

Analytical Ability

Ability to manage / facilitate a meeting, seminar, committee, training

Ability to set up relevant performance indicators

High Level of English Proficiency
