What your background should look like: KEY EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, in a technical or business field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in tendering.
- Data-driven, analytical & process mindset with significant attention to detail.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration capabilities / indirect leadership.
- A high level of initiative is required with adherence to delivering quality output to deadlines.
- Electrical Engineering background to provide a holistic engineering awareness in the Sales & Tendering process.

A Minimum of a good understanding of Microsoft Office Packages (i.e.
Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Clear and confident communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexibility to assume workloads which necessitate adjustment of priorities.
- Able to work alone and as part of a multi-discipline team.
- Understanding of TE Energy's product portfolio is a plus.
- Good understanding MS Project and PMP Certification is a plus.
- Fluent English is desirable

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Coordinate all aspects of the tendering process from receipt of RFQ through to submission of tenders.
- To review customer documents and develop the tender proposal for the project.
- Work closely with Product Management, Account Managers and Technical Service Engineers to define the product offering.

These functions will set the overall strategy for the bid, to be executed by the Tendering Engineer.
- To create bid cost model combining technical and commercial considerations for the bid.
- Work closely with the Legal & Pricing functions within TE to analyses customer T&C's, to be able to make pertinent proposals.
- Organize and coordinate activities and timings for input to the proposal from stakeholders (i.e.

Account Managers, Customer Services, Product Management, Pricing, Legal and Supply Chain).
- Define, compile and write tender proposal to the customer.

Completing all submission documentation.
This will include the commercial scope and deliverables (i.e.
product drawings, data sheets etc.
)
- Coordinate pre-submission review with Sales leads.
- Support Account Managers during negotiations.
- On successful contract award, prepare all the necessary handover documentation and coordinate handover processes to Account Managers, Customer Services, Product Management and Supply Chain.
- Present weekly reports based on MS Project or related tools like XLS to control the timescale for all contract awards.
- Keeping up to date with current product designs by liaising with the Product Management / Engineering teams and using this knowledge to ensure our future offers reflect current product offerings.
- Perform Lessons Learnt exercise after each tender concludes to share and agree Best Practice within the team.
- Mainly an office-based role but can include visits to Customers and Sites and other locations as required to support the business needs as instructed, including discussions on proposals/solutions.
