Allata is an IT company dedicated to strategy, architecture, and enterprise-level application development with offices in the US, India, and Argentina. We aim to be strategic advisors for our clients, focusing on helping them enhance or scale business opportunities, create efficiencies, automate processes through custom technologies, and find elegant solutions to inefficient problems.
We provide Data Analytics, Advanced Integrations, Product Launch, Experience Design, Support, Cloud, DevOps, Software Development, among other services. Our agile centralized development teams powered by our on-site senior leadership allow us to work with you as a stand-alone group be it integrating into your in-house dev teams or providing external architectural guidance.
Join us as a Technical Director and be a pivotal member of our LATAM Tech Hub´s executive leadership team. Your role will focus on driving large-scale digital transformation initiatives with a commitment to quality and client satisfaction. You will steer strategic development for our people and service lines, fostering a collaborative culture that prioritizes team well-being.
Role & Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with customers to understand their goals and create comprehensive plans that ensure timely delivery, cost efficiency, and optimal resource utilization, all while leveraging an agile mindset and framework.
2. Coordinate with team resources to monitor progress, develop transparent reporting mechanisms, and proactively manage and mitigate risks or issues as they arise.
3. Foster and develop client relationships and assist in identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, supporting the Client Partner through the sales process for growing the business.
4. Uphold the highest ethical and professional standards while representing the firm to clients.
5. Inspire, drive, and support the continuous development of team members by providing guidance, mentoring, and opportunities for professional growth, ensuring they reach their full potential and contribute effectively to the organization's goals.
6. Actively engage in shaping and implementing location strategy to align seamlessly with the broader goals and objectives of the organization.
7. Contribute to the development and implementation of resource strategies, optimizing the allocation and utilization of resources to support business growth and operational efficiency.
8. Champion and cultivate a positive organizational culture, promoting values of collaboration, innovation, and inclusivity, and fostering an environment where team members feel valued and motivated.
Hard Skills - Must have:
1. Experience leading client delivery teams, building successful client relationships, growing new client opportunities, and delivering on promises.
2. Proven ability to manage and enhance quality and margin within client accounts.
3. Skilled in breaking down complex business problems and guiding a team to resolve them.
4. Proficiency in working with agile delivery models.
5. Deep familiarity with Cloud Native environments in at least one of the major hyper-scalers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
6. Strategic level mastery in one or more of the following technologies (certifications with industry leading players in these areas would be a plus):
7. Modern software development patterns and tools. This includes experience with containers, serverless, and integration frameworks and tools like eventing, messaging, streaming, service bus, as well as purpose-built integration stacks like Boomi or Mulesoft.
8. Modern Data architectures, massive data processing and analytics. Including Snowflake, Databricks, MS Fabric and related tools.
9. Machine learning and Artificial intelligence, with application of Generative AI, RAG and associated use cases.
10. DevOps and infrastructure as code.
11. Digital Product Management lifecycle.

2. Proven track record operating in global and virtual environments, working remotely with colleagues across different geographies and cultures.
3. Ability to influence clients and teams to the preferred outcome.
4. Self-starter skilled in developing structure in ambiguous environments.
5. Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
6. Aptitude for developing company processes, recruit new talent, and develop new strategic business service offerings.
7. Willingness to perform multiple roles in a fast-moving, customer-oriented environment.
8. Full professional proficiency in English.
