About the Role
As Youth Services Training and Development Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all members of our Youth Services team feel comfortable and confident in delivering their roles to the highest possible standards. You will also contribute directly to one of our charitable aims: providing opportunities for young people to develop and grow professionally and personally through meaningful volunteering experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new and maintain existing training and development materials to be rolled out to all Youth Services volunteers and staff within the Charity.
- Evaluate and update training and development material regularly to ensure it remains relevant to the evolving needs of the Charity and the young people we support.
- Build and lead a robust team of volunteers to enable you to deliver against targets set by the Youth Services Director.
- Engage with the broader Youth Services Team, including Youth Services Assistants, to ensure consistent and ongoing delivery of all training and development programs.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of all training and development programs on an ongoing basis.
- Closure of training and development gaps as quickly as possible to ensure no individuals provide support to young people until fully qualified and signed off.
Requirements:
- 3+ years' experience in a role developing or delivering key training to operational individuals.
- Ability to present information clearly and concisely, both written and verbally.
- Confidence in delivering information to senior levels of the organisation and in forums of broader staff.
- Proficiency in using key IT software packages, including Office 365 and Microsoft Teams.
Salary: The estimated annual salary for this position is £35,000 - £45,000, depending on experience.
