UK Healthcare Strategy Manager

ALK-Abelló is seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our National Healthcare Strategy efforts in the UK. As a key member of our Market Access team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to secure patient access to our immunotherapy portfolio.
Job Summary:
- Lead the development and implementation of National Healthcare Strategies to drive patient access and business growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement NHS pathway redesigns, ensuring seamless integration with existing healthcare systems.
- Support NICE applications and formulary submissions, leveraging expertise in healthcare policy and regulations.
- Provide Market Access intelligence at both national and local levels, staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
- Develop and execute a dynamic Market Access plan to meet targets, utilizing data-driven insights and strategic thinking.
- Build and maintain relationships with key NHS stakeholders and payors, fostering collaborative partnerships and driving business growth.
- Monitor and report on Market Access progress to meet monthly milestones, providing regular updates to senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with ABPI Code of Practice and company policies, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.
- Deputise for the Director of Market Access & Sales as needed, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven expertise in the NHS and UK healthcare systems, including knowledge of funding models and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong track record of collaboration with the NHS to optimize patient and product pathways, delivering measurable results and value.
- Excellent understanding of NHS funding and the NICE process, enabling effective navigation and strategy development.
- Established network of Healthcare Professionals and commissioners, facilitating information exchange and partnership building.
- Ability to meet Market Access and sales targets in a rapidly changing environment, adapting quickly to new challenges and opportunities.
- Degree-level education (preferably science-related), with a strong foundation in business, management, or a related field.
