The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and a proven track record of providing top-notch technical support in fast-paced environments.
- Required Skills:
- Windows & Linux experience necessary.
- Linux server/user administration, light scripting (perl, python, ruby or other), and database experience (MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MemSQL, or other).
- IIS management, including load balanced applications, certificate monitoring, and deploying new sites & applications manually & via automated scripts and applications.
- SQL Server optimization, including CPU utilization and query analyzer and performance metrics.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing custom developed applications as well as SaaS offerings.
- Ensuring SQL Servers are performing optimally.
- Running CPU utilization and query analyzer and performance metrics.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting complex application problems.
- Providing end user technical support across all systems and devices.
- Collaborating with the development team on root cause analysis.
- Partnering with other departments to provide first-hand feedback from customers.
