We are currently seeking a highly skilled professional to provide support for the desktop environment, including deployment, troubleshooting, incident handling, and request fulfillment.
As a Desktop Support Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Providing technical assistance to end-users on demand
- Rack and stack support for commissioning and decommissioning infrastructure devices
- Ensuring physical access to vendors for site and communication rooms
- Printer management and coordination with vendors to ensure print services continuity
- Coordinating cable patching with vendors or enabling on demand
- Ensuring basic network connectivity, Wi-Fi access, video conferencing, printers, and voice systems are available at sites
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities to identify root causes of incidents reported by end-users
- Installing and configuring hardware and software components to ensure usability by end-users
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge and experience in managing power shutdown maintenance activities
- Familiarity with GMP and GxP (desired)
- English proficiency: Upper intermediate and above
- Strong focus on quality and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills to work with multiple teams and OEMs on high-priority issues
