About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Agile Coach to join our team at Kimberly-Clark. As an Agile Coach, you will play a critical role in helping our teams adopt and implement Agile methodologies, driving cultural change and improving our overall performance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coaching and facilitating teams in all aspects of Agile mindset and execution, including jump-starting new teams and ongoing coaching for project teams and product teams.
  • Acting as the primary coaching resource for Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Agile teams.
  • Providing one-on-one coaching to Product Owners on product backlog management, release planning, backlog refinement, writing quality user stories, story splitting/breakdown, defining acceptance criteria, sprint planning, and user acceptance testing.
  • Providing one-on-one coaching to Scrum Masters on how to serve the Scrum team, serve the Product Owner, and serve the Organization.
  • Coaching teams in implementing Scrum/Kanban, capacity planning, estimation, backlog refinement, measuring velocity, and other metrics.
  • Developing Agile training materials and training modules for Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Agile Teams, and Leadership.
  • Delivering hands-on training in classroom and virtual settings using collaboration tools.
  • Coordinating and facilitating Agile-related community of practice activities to drive shared learnings across the enterprise.
  • Being part of the Agile Center of Excellence and helping roll out best practices like Agile metrics.
  • Providing ideas to IT leadership based on experience scaling multi-team products and projects.
  • Observing teams to assess Agile maturity and using the outcome as input into improvement roadmaps.
  • Providing guidance to support migration from project-centric organizations to product-centric organizations.
  • Influencing leadership and their teams to drive adoption of Agile methods.

Key Qualifications and Experiences:

  • BA or BS/MS degree in a relevant field, with 12+ years of professional experience and a minimum of 4 years of IT experience.
  • Fluent English.
  • 5-7 years of IT delivery experience.
  • +5 years working in an Agile software delivery environment.
  • +3 years providing coaching to Agile teams.
  • +1 year acting as a Scrum Master.
  • Experience working with Agile project teams, Scrum teams, Kanban teams, and Product Teams.
  • Experience coaching Agile teams that are dispersed globally.
  • Excellent training skills in classroom and virtual settings using collaboration tools.
  • Experience with Agile Life Cycle Management Tools (JIRA or AzureDevOps).
  • Strong virtual meeting facilitation, interpersonal communication, training, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Experience designing and implementing Scrum of Scrum for global products with regional delivery.
  • Expert problem-solving ability and experience leading groups through problem-solving methodology.
  • Prioritization and time management.
