Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team at Barbuss. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling marine cargo insurance specifically tailored for perishable cargo to prospective clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Create and execute sales plans to promote and sell marine cargo insurance for perishable cargo to clients.
  • Identify and Prospect New Business Opportunities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the marine cargo industry, focusing on clients with perishable cargo needs.
  • Build and Maintain Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique requirements and providing tailored insurance solutions.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of insurance products and services to clients.
  • Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and market dynamics to effectively position our insurance offerings.
  • Prepare and Deliver Presentations: Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and negotiations to close deals and meet sales targets.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients throughout the sales process and beyond.

Requirements:

  • Proven Sales Experience: Proven experience in sales, preferably in the insurance industry or cargo-related field.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the marine cargo, logistics, fresh-produce, or insurance industries.
  • Technical Knowledge: Technical knowledge of marine cargo insurance, particularly in the context of perishable cargo.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, international trade, or a related field preferred.
  • Language Skills: Fluent English (oral and written).
