About the Role
The People Solutions Partner role at Chevron is a key position that requires HR expertise to handle complex and ambiguous employee and supervisor cases. This involves providing HR counsel, coordinating with various HR Functional teams, and non-HR subject matter experts (SMEs). The successful candidate will manage intake, triage, and resolve cases from designated client groups in multiple countries.
Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for employees and supervisors, providing support and guidance on workplace issues to promote a positive work environment.
- Provide policy and benefit counsel specific to site, country, and payroll, and refer to vendors when necessary.
- Apply strong understanding of HR policies, services, and programs in a wide variety of situations with increasing complexity.
- Maintain accurate records of employee interactions and resolutions, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Develop solutions for unique business problems, recognizing the intent of the policy and documenting it for future use.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, or related role.
- Experienced problem-solving and critical thinking skills to handle complex and ambiguous cases.
- Highly proficient in using knowledge of HR policies, benefits, and processes to resolve employee and supervisor issues.
- Must be proficient in English.
- Demonstrates exceptional verbal and written communication skills, consistently delivering outstanding customer service remotely through phone and digital platforms.
